The role of our staff is to provide quality service to guests and clients by providing prompt, courteous food and beverage service. They also support the production and execution of our signature event experience. These team members provide friendly, responsive service to create and exceptional and memorable experience for all guests. We cater large and small events at various venues, including corporate luncheons and weddings. We strive for excellence by providing exemplary service and producing high-quality events for our clients.

BANQUET SERVER


Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize guests dining experience.

  2. Sets up and breaks down chairs, tables, and buffet.

  3. Sets up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and smallware needed to effectively serve all food products.

  4. Prepares room for dining by arranging table placement, clothing tables, napkins, service plates, and utensils.

  5. Loads and unloads plates, silverware, and other service equipment.

  6. Serves courses, clears dishware, and ensure that guests dining needs are taken care of.

  7. Keeps serving stations restocked throughout the event.

  8. Cleans large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service.

  9. Maintains guest tables and serving stations according to client specifications and procedures.

  10. Assists other catering staff as needed to optimize the guests’ dining experience.

  11. Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.

  12. Reports any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the manager on duty.

  13. Correctly completes closing duties at the end of each event.

 

Banquet Servers must be able to work weekends for events. Able to focus on the job while staying on his or her feet and moving about freely. This can include bending, climbing stairs, and carrying items weighing 25-50 pounds. Must also have reliable transportation to and from Graze Catering and event venues. Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED preferred

  2. Hospitality-related kitchen or front-of-the-house experience preferred
